Chronicles
Among The Off Stage artists, the biggest applause achieved Vacat, Riverside and the Slovakian Bluesweiser, that won the contest.
The Main Stage list of performances looked that way: Riders, Tadeusz Pocieszyński and his Bluesmobile, Bo Torbus Quartet, Schau Pau (with the highlander from the Alps), McMahon & Kamiński i Cree.
The first star - Alvin Youngblood Hart & Muscle Theory created the trance, almost narcotic atmosphere with the Howlin' Wolf style vocals. More than 4 thousand blues fans listened to the show.
Shakin’ Dudi – post punk side of Irek Dudek, that gave him a splendid success in the 80's, this time changed into neo swing big band. Next, on the stage appeared Big Bill Morganfield, the gifted guitarist, who did his best in his father's – Muddy Waters - classic tunes He proved to be the hope of the blues.
Thanks to C.J. Chenier, Polish blues fans could hear New Orlean zydeco for the first time. They were all in this jumpful and fast music. I'm so glad to be here tonight with You – said Chenier at the end of his show.
